An elected Executive Committee is responsible for the management of the affairs of the ZWPC and ensuring that decisions arrived at during meetings and Caucus activities are implemented. The Executive Committee, which is elected every two years, consist of the Chairperson, Vice- Chairperson, Secretary, Vice Secretary, Treasurer, Vice Treasurer, Publicity Secretary and vice-Publicity secretary.

Members of the ZWPC work closely with stakeholders such as civil society organizations (CSOs) and cooperating partners. Further, consultative meetings between stakeholders and the Caucus are held with a view to network on how best gender issues and the participation of women in decision making can be enhanced. Apart from consultative meetings, female members of parliament participate in regional and international conferences such as the Pan-African Parliament (PAP, the Common wealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) and the inter-parliamentary Union (IPU) in order to share experiences and best practices.

In addition, female Parliamentarians as members of the ZWPC can present questions and motions on the floor of the House aimed at advancing gender equality. Such initiatives have included a Motion urging the Government to repeal or amend statutes that discriminate against women which among others, culminated into the enactment of the Anti-Gender-Based Violence Act of 2011.
